Goalec 1

Goalec 1 is the leader of The Goalec, the ruling family of the city of Gheldren. He was chosen for that position following the defeat of the Onyx Empire and their withdrawal from Tanilon. Much of his power is said to derive from a mysterious artifact known as the Swirling Green Orb of Thunder, which is kept in his castle on the eastern edge of the city.

Goalec has six children, four girls and two boys. Each of them is also named Goalec. The youngest, Goalec 7, runs a martial academy in Peradon, in southern Kellan.
