Krynolith Whisperwind

Krynolith Whisperwind is a sage who was originally born on the island of Transha. His family, The Whisperwind, one of the Nine Families who rule the island, disowned him many years ago, and he has since roamed Ardrana, studying anything and everything. During his journeys, he met and became fast friends with a misfit from another well-connected family, Leviticus Pallianor. He is often found in Levi's home on the Ethereal Plane, performing arcane research either for himself or for hire.

Krynolith's specialty is knowledge of the Outer Planes, but he also knows quite a bit about magic and about the history of magical artifacts. When he is not staying with Levi, Krynolith keeps a residence in Semmarch. Due to his association with the Pallianor family, he is not well-liked in the city, but he enjoys sticking the occasional thumb in the eye of Duke Mirdael Hanaestor, the current overlord of the city.

Krynolith was originally designed as a PC to be played by Nick Cimino, but never appeared in a game as such. He was converted into an NPC shortly thereafter.
