Manotikitiya

Manotikitiya is a play written by the bard Hannabar some time in the 7th century L.C.. It involves a group of young heroes on their first adventure encountering the title character, an evil witch doctor, and defeating him. The work is well known throughout much of Lanad i'Sarois, but is most popular in the SouthLands.

Most recently, Manotikitiya has seen a revival of popularity after a production last year in Hanmer. The popularity was such that a local bard named Thomlin has written a sequel starring the same group of heroes called The Sea-Going Ghost, which is currently being staged at the Versilo Amphitheatre in Nazivonema by Thomlin's theatre company, the Nazivonema Public Repertory.
