Scarmeldan is a soldier in the White Army assigned to the garrison in Hanmer. He was one of those assigned to Beatrice to aid in information gathering about the reasons for Mirdael Hanaestor's decision to leave the White Alliance, but was not suited for an espionage mission and returned to his post.
