Second Matrian Migration
From Ardrana
The Second Matrian Migration took place some ninety years ago when a group of Lastini decided that they could no longer accept the direction that Queen Calestra was leading their people. She, at the urging of her daughter, Kintana, started relaxing the restrictions on men and began adopting deities such as Bassik into their celebrations. Serena, the High Priestess of the temple dedicated to Midella in Pescara, gathered a group of like-minded individuals and set sail in hopes of finding a new place to settle so the beliefs and traditions of their motherland of Matria would have a chance of surviving. They sailed along the coast of the Lanad until a high hill with an abundance of pink blossoms Serena saw in a dream came into view south of the city of Kimelis. The group went ashore and began building their new life.
