The Retsnom

The Retsnom is one of the Nine Families that rule the island of Transha. It consists primarily of the descendants of Jarimla Retsnom, one of the original twenty settlers of the island. Its lands are on the southern side of the island, which faces the nearby small island of Trecal. Their main city is Trop Yajot, which lies on the southern shore of Transha.

Exploratory ships occasionally depart Transha from this part of the island in a continuing effort to maintain relations with nations in northern Rannas i'Drasoin. Their current patriarch, Zahromer Tsu Retsnom, is a former adventurer himself, and often leads expeditions into The Grinder and beyond.
