Alustrial Falconhand

Alustrial Falconhand was an Elven psionic warrior from the city of Shaiyo. Distantly related to Lukeon, she chose a life of adventuring over that of the nobility, leading to her untimely death.

Early life

Born the daughter of a noble, Alustrial was expected to live a soft life, but early on she found that her heart was not for the gossip and goings on of the court. Rather, her true love was in swordsmanship and war. So, much to the chagrin of her father, Alustrial began training under the royal weapons master. The weapons master quickly realized the raw potential and grace in his beautiful student and so decided to teach her the most coveted art of the blade song. It was here that Alustrial began to flourish and grow.

The talent

After she finished her training and was serving her time as a member of the guard. Alustrial began to have odd and strange things start to happen around her. She could not figure out what sort of things were happening to her -- things like wounds magically healing, or people not noticing her even though she was standing right in front of them. Fortunately for her, she caught the notice of one of the court's scholars. This scholar was able to determine that Alustrial had latent mental powers. The scholar knew of a master in the arts -- Master Izak, who dwelt among the Cephid Knights -- so he sent her to the Luyan Mountains to try to earn the opportunity to train with him. Almost at the point at which her raw powers were about to destroy her, the master finally agreed to train her. Having grown into and learned to control her powers, Alustrial traveled the world seeking adventure and excitement.

Out into the world

Her travels were brief, however, as Alustrial was poisoned by the cloudkill power of a mezzoloth while attempting to help Molbo recover the Most Sacred Crock of Cheese from the Maluur.
