Baley's Clearing

Baley's Clearing is a very large, perfectly circular clearing located in the exact center of the island of Vorilsha. It sits within Shael i'Vor, the Forest of Purity, and is considered the most sacred place in all Ardrana by druids and other priests of Vodyus. It is here that the Cabal holds its annual meeting on the three days of High Sun.

The clearing itself is said to have been created by Baley, the founder of the Cabal and patron of the Druidic Order. It is said that he created the clearing to protect the remaining unicorns of Ardrana from the great conflagrations of the Fire Wars, in case it was able to leap across the Straits of the Unicorn. Ever since those days, the clearing has been meticulously maintained by the servants of the Great Druid of the Forest, who is the High Priest of Vodyus that oversees this, his preeminent temple.
