CloudStorm

CloudStorm is an Elven ranger from Shael i'Vor. He is the son of a priestess of Vendamatrix and one of the forest's Elven guardians. When he was very young, his mother was killed by marauding trolls, and his father was unable to leave his duties, so he was raised by a friend of the family who was a master falconer. When his mentor also died, CloudStorm set off into the world on his own, with only a falcon of his own for companionship.

For a while, CloudStorm made a living working as a scout for parties traveling through Nazivonema. One day, after the completion of one of these missions, he came upon SpringRite and Gabriella in the Red Dragon Inn, and they convinced him to join them. He accompanied Mace Nighthammer to Jar-Kahn in an effort to gain information on an item the party had been carrying. A short time later, he and the others were waylaid by one of their companions, and had to be rescued by the rest of the party.

Like his mother, CloudStorm is dedicated to Vendamatrix CloudMinder, the Ardic god of the sky. He has been known to wax rhapsodic about the possibility of someday walking amongst the clouds, and one of his fondest wishes is to someday ride on a flying carpet.
