Commaranto is the brother of Queen Chatha os'Sarani and Carther. He took Tiburona, the Duchess of Pescara, as his wife after the death of her first husband. The couple and Tiburona's daughter, Dame Phichta, reside in that city.
Commaranto is known affectionately to his nieces, Conchita and Kisha as "Uncle Comma".
