Green Road

The Green Road runs through Hanaellan between the cities of Byngh and Semmarch. It thus is also the third and latest main road to connect the King's Road (or the Duke's Road as it's known locally) and the Old Gnome Road.

The Green Road -- so named after "Green Land", Hanaellan's name in Kellanic -- was completed quite recently, commissioned by Duke Mirdael Hanaestor to aid in both the expansion of commerce in the region and the ability to move troops between the two cities. It also allows easy travel between the two cities without having to go south to the East-West Road. There is an ongoing discussion about building an addition going east to Lavat or Wilkarren, but there are as yet no specific plans.
