Hawk clan

The Hawk clan is one of the Thirteen Clans of Jiberia that, collectively, control the vast majority of the land on the peninsula. The clan is led by the Nomoto family, whose warlord is Nomoto Anako. Their lands are relatively small, located in the heavily-forested region in the foothills of the Onyl Mountains.

The Hawk clan is the most loyal supporters of the Dragon clan against their rivals, the Ki-rin clan. It is said that Lady Nomoto is quite close to Lady Hitomi, as in their youth the two were students of the same teacher. They otherwise remain aloof in the field of diplomacy, preferring to exert their power through their control of trading in wood, paper, and other forest-derived products.
