Dragon clan

The Dragon clan are perhaps the most powerful of the Thirteen Clans of Jiberia, controlling a broad swath of land in the west-central part of the peninsula. Under the leadership of Mirumoto Hitomi (usually known simply as Lady Hitomi), they have expanded their influence significantly over the past decade, attacking and defeating a number of smaller clans in the region and annexing their land. Currently, their lands are bordered by those of the Dolphin clan to the north, the Crane clan to the southeast, the Ki-rin clan to the northeast, and the Water buffalo clan to the south.

Though the Dragon clan is known mainly for its military might, it is also heavily involved in trade. The city of Soujin, in the southwestern part of the lands controlled by the clan, is one of the two most important ports in western Jiberia (the other being Tabune). They have a great rivalry with the Ki-rin clan, who control many of the overland trade routes, and they are closely allied with the Crane clan.
