Crane clan

The Crane clan is one of the Thirteen Clans of Jiberia, controlling a block of land along the southern coast of the peninsula. Their lands are bordered by those of the Water buffalo clan to the west, the Dragon clan to the northwest, the Ki-rin clan to the north, and the Carp clan to the east. They are led by Doji Hiruse, whom it is said once loved Mirumoto Hitomi, which is why their two clans are so close.

Unlike other lands along the coast, those of the Crane clan have no true harbor. Therefore, the Crane are mostly farmers and fishers. Many years ago, they signed a treaty with the Dragon clan which essentially made the Crane clan a vassal state in exchange for the clan's survival.
