Thesgna

From Ardrana

(Redirected from Angst)

Thesgna is a Halfling priest -- formerly of Helandra, currently of Sedric -- who is also trained as a thief. Originally from Hanmer, she is currently working at the temple in Byngh.

Thesgna was recruited in Hanmer by Garabald to aid in investigating mysterious deaths in the town of Gaithos, but what was unknown at the time was that she had a split personality. The second personality, a male named Angst who possessed the thieving skills but not the ability to cast spells, wound up nearly ruining the mission by stealing the gold that was to be paid to the party. This was not discovered until Fiona Barthos interrogated her, and one night left her bound in her room at an inn in Warshick. When Thesgna awoke, the Angst personality had come to the surface and revealed himself.

Thereafter, Thesgna was kept bound and catatonic through the ministrations of Alysten, but an accidental overdose killed her. Her body was brought to The Great Waystation, the temple of Sedric in Nazivonema, and when she was resurrected by its High Priest, Laremand, her disorder was cured and she was made whole again. She was ordered to return to Gaithos to apologize for taking the gold then to return to Nazivonema to do penance for the misdeeds committed while she was Angst. She completed that penance and joined the faith of Sedric, and was sent to its temple in Byngh to continue to learn the ways of the traveller.

Thesgna is a PC played by Phil Vlasak.
