Fhegdh

From Ardrana

Fhegdh was a Grazhnakh settlement in eastern Arin. It served as the main Onyx Army garrison overlooking the Cardillic Desert during the Wars of Arin, and was the last outpost in the region to be taken by the White Army. This event inspired one of the best-known epics of Orcish lore, Tazhbalakh's Last Stand.

Following the city's fall, the area was occupied by the Dwarves of Thorin's clan for several years. However, the outpost was far from the Thair Mountains, and it was mostly abandoned within a decade. The ruins were soon overrun by the chipmunk Orcs, who turned the former temple of Shiva into a site dedicated to Gruumsh and drove the remaining Dwarves out of the area.

As word of the Onyx Empire's fall spread, other displaced humanoids gathered in the area, which unlike most of Arin was still somewhat fertile. After a while, a half-Drow named Labeese took it upon himself to organize the various races, proclaiming the new village of Promise Junction.
