Taliesin Gwion

Taliesin Gwion was the son of Tegid Gwion, who serves as chamberlain to Wyman Palomedes in the city-state of Shadius in eastern Tanilon. He was a bard of some skill, but his main duties were as a diplomat -- his father often sent him to various places in the NorthLands to raise support for his cause: the reunification of the entire region under one banner -- that of his lord.

Taliesin was on just such a mission, along with his aide Fimber, to the city of Tommard when he came upon Molbo, who was on a quest to recover his people's Most Sacred Crock of Cheese from the Maluur. Taliesin, seeing an opportunity to gain allies for his father's cause, joined the group. Unfortunately, he did not survive the mission, as he was killed by the trolls that guarded the Maluur's stronghold.
