Zemodi Desert

The Zemodi Desert is the largest arid region in all of Ardrana. It encompasses several million square miles in central and southern Rannas i'Drasoin, from Sambarria to the north to the Wall of Night in the south, and from near to the western coast to the Forest of Thir in the east. Very few people dwell in this desert, for oases are exceedingly scarce. In the very center of this desert lies Shadow's Life, the central temple of Nevis.

There are a handful of routes across the Zemodi, but none are used frequently. The only north-south route through the desert is the Zemodi Trail, running between Intrellia and Inirica. There are a few that criss-cross from east to west between Thir and the city-states of the west, but none are anywhere near permanent.
