The Faltremar is a merchant ship, a three-masted caravel owned and captained by Gavin. It was built for him by the Lastini to honor his participation in Princess Conchita's Conchita's Journey of Enlightenment. Its first mate is a fellow named Heth Al Ameer.

For some time, the ship's home port was the city of Mentoncha, and from there it would make runs around the coast of Shark's Fin Bay, up and down the western coast of Lanad i'Sarois as far as Gascar, and occasionally out to the various islands of the area. Recently, however, Gavin has decided to focus his attention on the trade between Mentemar and Gascar.
