Shimwell Maranthis

Shimwell is a half-Elven fighter/thief. She was found abandoned as a baby in the town of Wendingham by Petrell Maranthis, the daughter of the city's lord, Evandon Maranthis. She grew up among humans in the city, but found at a young age that she occasionally had the gift of premonition. At the age of sixteen, she foresaw the death of her adopted grandfather in a fall, but was unable to get anyone to believe her. When Evandon indeed fell to his death, Shimwell left Wendingham, vowing never to return.

Since leaving her home, Shimwell has wandered the SouthLands, making her living as an adventurer. For some time, she was a member of Beatrice's task force in the White Army, but left her company some four years ago. Her gift led her to Molbo, allowing her to help save Alysten from the Maluur. She left that group some time thereafter, her current whereabouts unknown.
