The Black Czar

The Black Czar is a mysterious figure who controls much of the southern part of Ardann i'Parastha. It is believed that his domain lies deep in the heart of the Obsidian Mountains in the central Ardann, where it is believed he found the Maluur and awakened them from the stasis in which they had lain for centuries.

The Black Czar has for some time been attempting to gain control of all the nexuses of Ardrana, and it is to this purpose that he has put the Maluur over the past several years. Through the Maluur, he has control over several nexuses in the Ardann. An early attempt to gain control of Lassomaranza failed, but a second succeeded, although the Elves of Shael i'Vor are involved in a struggle to recapture it. It is believed he has exerted magical force over Flohrilynn Forest in an attempt to gain control over its nexus, and control over one located in the Camlekian Waste was gained and then lost.

It is unknown whether this figure is, or has any relation to, Auryk, who also called himself "The Black Czar" during the Great Magic War.
