Harper's Trail

Harper's Trail is named after Sir Roderick Harper, one of the top generals of the White Alliance during the Wars of Arin. The road supposedly follows the trail his troops took following their victory at the Battle of Kimelis, when the troops marched all the way across Kellan in twelve days to lend support to the Elves of the Filitir Forest, who were on the verge of defeat by the forces of the Onyx Empire. Sir Roderick's troops turned the tide, allowing the Elves to turn back the enemy.

Harper's Trail is the only road allowed through Elven lands in all Lanad i'Sarois. It begins at the City of the Trees and crosses Kellan, passing through Hanmer, where it crosses King's Road, and Mauben, where it meets the Old Gnome Road, on the way to Kimelis on the shores of the Living Ocean. On some occasions, there has been talk of lengthening it all the way to Mentoncha, but it is doubtful the Elves would allow further construction.
