Bastor

From Ardrana

Bastor is a Human fighter from the town of Lennick. He set out on his own early on, making his way to the city of Semmarch, where he spent a few years serving in the White Army under the command of Beatrice. With the separation of Hanaellan from the White Alliance, he has found himself looking for new direction in life.

In the White Army

As part of Beatrice's squad under the command of Kent Mydland, Bastor found himself on a number of adventures. During this time, he found a kindred spirit in his adventuring buddy and fellow soldier, the Dwarven fighter Klaven. During their time together, Bastor enjoyed challenging Klaven to drinking contests in every inn along the adventuring path, and he loves to flirt with the wenches he encounters. The latter has, thus far, met with little success.

After things in Semmarch went sideways, Bastor and Klaven were tasked with trying to discover the reasoning for Mirdael Hanaestor's withdrawal from the White Alliance. For a time, they worked on building the Green Road, but made little progress on their assignment. Eventually, the two gave up on the idea and officially left the army.

Later wanderings

While Klaven departed to the east, Bastor tried to stay in Byngh for a few months. However, he missed the fun times he used to have with his pal, and decided to seek his fortune elsewhere. He left for the Crossroads, where he took several jobs guarding caravans traveling along the East-West Road to the Cardillic Desert. On a visit to Agropthos, he chanced to see a poster looking for guards for caravans traveling along Onyx Road 46 in Sandpit.

Personal info

Although his time in the army mellowed him, no amount of military training can truly take the boy out of the man. Beatrice and his friend Arista, a Gnomish illusionist, constantly admonished him and Klaven for their immature attitude. Still, he is a true friend, and when the chips are down, Bastor is a fierce warrior and has gotten his fellow adventurers out of a scrape or two.

Bastor is the first cousin of Baron Beauregard of Tommard, as their mothers were sisters.
